Two days of 6am bootcamp done.
It's not as hard as I thought it would be to get up and get moving for class. Granted, I've actually been going to bed at a semi-reasonable hour the last few nights, which I'm sure helps.
KISAKATT had suggested I be sure to have everything prepped the night before. I've put that into practice so far, having my bag ready to go, so all I have to do when I wake up is toss on my gym clothes and head out. Preparedness is not always my strong suit, so I'm glad I've been able to remember to do it thus far!
The class itself is relatively fun, I like the group of people, the trainer is cool, and it's been a good workout. I'm definitely sore! This mornings class was a bit rough since I'm still sore from Monday... and since I can't do Friday 6am I'm substituting it with Thursday at 7pm, so you can bet your @$$ I'll be extra sore tomorrow night. Definitely going to need the weekend to recover. Will likely still get in a run or two, but no strength!
The trainer just got me set up today with food tracking, so I'm curious to see where things go with that, if she's going to be giving feedback or menus after she evaluates what I have been eating.
General consensus = so far so good.
