Gonna go kinda Paleo

I've been doing some reading on Paleo today and whereas I know I'll never commit to it completely I'm going to be making little changes to eat more in this fashion...

1 - I'm going to have fruit instead of my greek yogurts for breakfast for a while - see how that goes.

2 -I'm going to cut the cheese from my salads (what will I put in the place of the cheese? maybe bacon? yum!) and see what nuts or seeds I might sprinkle on top of it instead of my croutons. Maybe I can start keeping hard-boiled eggs in the fridge...HmmMMmmmm. Mandarin oranges? Avocado? Ok, I'm salivating now...

For dinner tonight we're doing Olive Garden and I'm planning on ordering the Venetian Apricot Chicken - I've seen it on the menu for years under the "Lighter Fare" but never ordered it.

    I just bought this book over the weekend, but haven't had a chance to start reading it yet -- glancing through it though, it looks like there are at least some interesting changes that I might want to implement too. I like the idea of making the small changes. Small changes add up over time.

    sounds like a good idea! I tried it was sort of expensive but I liked the recipes from the cook book I ordered. Used coconut oil to cook with, very yummy! and supposed to be good for us.
