Dragging A Bit Today
Wednesday, April 17, 2013
I'm dragging a bit today. Kind of sluggish, like I need a nap. I was OK until after my workout. I came back to my desk tuckered out. Then as soon as I sat down, my boss came to get me. We hoofed it down to the warehouse looking for a cart to use for E scrap. We didn't find one but boy was I sleepy when we got back. I can't wait to get home and take off my work clothes and get into my "comfys". Maybe even bed early night. Maybe..CSI is on at 10 tonight. Oh well...I'll play it by ear.
Dinner last night was chili. It was good and I didn't really over eat on it. Tonight I have some smallish pork steaks thawing in the fridge. I'll make those with some hashbrowns and some peas. That will take care of dinner for tonight.
I did my workout at lunch. I got down to the gym a bit earlier then I usually do so I got done a bit earlier too. I'm on the elliptical this week. Still having an issue with the same person leaving a huge gym bag on the floor, today right under my locker, so I moved it out of my way. I don't know who's it is. I do know it's there when I go into the locker room and still there when I leave an hour or so later. I'm thinking it has to be someone that doesn't have to worry about a time frame. You know...like back from lunch at a certain time. I think most of the ladies that us the locker room fall into that category, way above MY pay grade. Although I do tend to leave for my workouts a tad early and get back to my cube a tad after 1, I don't run more then 10 mins late.
I'm hoping to get 10,000 (or at least close to that number) of steps on my FitBit today. I'm kicking hubby's butt in that dept right now.
But then he's still home from work with his shoulder and will be all next week too. He tends to set on his cute butt most of the day when he's home. He did go out yesterday, went to PT and then to the Dr and had his staples removed. The incision looks a bit red, so I'll keep an eye on it for infection.
OK..that's it for me on this Hump Day! Have a great rest of the day!
