Today's "Action Step":
Blog about all the ways in which you've noticed improvements in your life since adopting healthier habits.
I am feeling more energy on a daily basis! I was feeling weak and tired so much of the time before I started eating properly. As we all know, if you don't eat right your body, and metabolism slows! I am now starting to gain some "speed" again! This really feels great, because I had almost given up having energy!
Even though I have only lost two pounds so far, I am noticing that my clothes are a little looser! This is good because I swore that I was NOT going to buy larger clothes! ( No money to do it anyway! ) I am only going to do measurements once a month, but I can tell the difference already!
I am doing a resistance band workout, a beginner pilates workout, a DVD for Physically Challenged, and an 11 minute Chair Cardio workout. This is amazing! Before my "lifestyle" change I barely got out of bed. Walking hurt, getting in and out of the bath tub was near to impossible, Standing up was difficult. Now I am doing so much more! I still tire easily and I still have aches and pains, but I can see little improvements! I walk to the trash chute 3 days a week, when I used to ride the scooter down there! This is amazing to me! I am sure that I will continue to see these improvements as I get stronger!
I have also seen improvement in my depression! I feel more hopeful and optimistic! I still have my "down" days, but my "up" days are more frequent! Things don't get to me like before. This is good and makes me happy that I started this program!
I am glad to have SparkPeople and all of you who I get comments, and encouragement from! It makes this difficult and long journey easier!
