i used to think food was my friend and i could eat whatever came my way. now i am starting to realize how many calories are in the things i used to eat allot of. i am thankful that sparkpeople actually shows me how many calories i have eaten and how many i have to go for the day. i am now very cautious on what i eat. i am reading labels. so food can be friendly if eaten in the right amounts and the right way.
