Should I Knock First?

I feel like I should be wearing one of those peel-off name tags that say...HELLO, MY NAME IS...It has been almost 3 weeks since I have been on SparkPeople to check in. I have not tracked, blogged & have not been drinking the 8-10 glasses of water each day. I don't feel like a failure...I didn't FALL off the wagon but at times, I feel like I JUMPED off the wagon, but I feel like I am only holding on with ONE hand, as I run along NEXT to the wagon...OK, who am I kidding...I'm not running...just walking...The last time I checked in was March 22nd...I was still having some trouble with my knee (fell on the ice back in Feb.) I had an MRI & it was totally negative (Thank You, Lord) no torn ligaments, ACL, MCL or meniscus...I have some arthritis in both of my knees & the fall just activated everything...I have slowly been getting back to my walking routine...slow & steady...My dear husband bought a recumbent bike for my Birthday & I best start using it religiously. It is less trauma than pounding the pavement, but I just get nervous & don't want to do anything to re-injure my knee...As some of you may have read my daughter Jan-Marie's SP blog, she got engaged on Fri. & ran her 1st half-marathon on Sun. It was a great weekend for all of us. So happy that we were able to be there for both. Looking at the pictures, I certainly could SEE the 11 lbs. that I have gained since Aug. Now that we have a wedding down the road, maybe that will help to keep me motivated & focused...It is such a battle but one that I refuse to stop fighting. Once AGAIN...my goals this week will be to drink (water), exercise & BLOG...that really keeps me on the straight & narrow. I certainly hope that all of you have not given up on me & I so appreciate your supportive comments. Take care...I will talktoyouSOON...
