I posted this over at one of the Atkins teams, but it's not all out of my system, yet. So I'll say it again:
Woke up yesterday AM and I was up 9 lbs. NINE! In a day!
Ok. I know, I didn't gain nine lbs of fat, and certainly not muscle. I didn't change my salt intake. Everything I ate was right in line with what I've been eating.... very low carbs. I don't really worry about calories, but they were right in line, anyway.
I'm back down four today (I've been drinking lots of EXTRA water, on the theory that when you're bloated you need to flush the system). But that still leaves me up 5 from where I was two days ago.
What do you think? Should I just hang in there doing what's been working so far? I can't imagine what kinds of changes would make any sense. Should I update my ticker with this disgusting development?
