Feeling a little brighter today.

As my ticker clearly shows I have been the victim of 'fat creep' and now at 78.5kg.

Last year I spent six months on Slimming World green and lost 4lb! So I moved to red days - which is a challenge bearing in mind I am a veggie.

I seem to remember losing a little more with red but nothing drastic and it was about then I went on my hols in September that never really got back to it properly.

So my plans is 1200 - 1500 cals a day (2000 on saturday to accomodate pink wine)

I will cut my carbs - mainly because this does bring the cal count of a meal quite a bit. Dinner is always an issue so hopefully cutting carbs from this will help.

My second goal is going to be the requisite water and then go from there.

I want to be 70kg by the end of May and 60kg by the end of July.

I will only weigh myself monthly. I can't get into those weekly weigh on mind games again! One of my weaknesses is losing the plot when I have stuck to plan all week and then lost nothing...

All I need to remember is every action I make is either towards my goal or away from it.

Oh, and a lot of my clothes are too tight!

I think red and green on SW are both very good plans - there is enough evidence of them working for other people and I just wish they worked for me - especially green days!

I loved the freedon of not weighing and tracking and all that free food. And the things I learnt to do with Quark!

I think my main issue with SW was portion size and this is why I need to go back to calorie counting and tracking.

When I have got back to where I want to be I think I will use green days as a maintenance plan.

I still do SW and don't know how it works but when I'm true to the plan it does work for me.

However whichever plan we use we do need to be true to ourself, for me that's writing it all down soon after I've eaten it.
