Recipe in Solidarity With the People of Boston

Wednesday, April 17, 2013

I've been thinking of how many gifts Boston has given this country. Founded by the Pilgrims and the Cradle of the American Revolution. It's not just the profound wisdom of our Founding Fathers, it's the food too.

So it seems to me that this would be a good time to make one of Boston's iconic recipes: Boston Baked Beans. Here's a terrific recipe from right here on Sparkpeople!

Wishing everyone a wonderful day. And all Boston Sparkers - I'm particularly thinking of you.

And here is a beautiful and equally humbling photo:

Oh, that photo made me cry! Thank you for sharing it. Yes, they would understand. It's heart-breaking to remember that some of the world's people live in constant fear of hatred and violence.

And thank you for linking your blog with something positive and life affirming.

Blessed Be, Amanda emoticon

Incredible, makes me proud to be a woman. They have experienced and seen the same kind of hate. I can feel their love.

Thank you Rosalie!
