    Great job!

I get to the gym in the morning before it gets busy... but I did have to talk myself out of chickening out and running away my first time down there.

TAKE PICTURES - I have gained weight, my measurements haven't really changed much, but my pictures tell a very different story (see my blog for today). And when you increase your calories, I suggest increasing them with protein and fat, not extra carbs or junk food - which you appear to be doing anyway! I hate when I hear people say, "I run so I can eat like crap." Wow, awesome... Hahahahaha...

Great blog! Take your pictures, all your measurements, and body fat if you can. It's going to be changing, and you don't want to miss it.

And just give up on the scale now. It's a lying jerk.

I liked the New Rules of Lifting for Women FB page, and it's a very helpful resource. There are great videos and how-to's, support, etc... It's a great community.

I lift weights with a couple friends in an otherwise male-dominated weights section, and I gotta say that while it was intimidating at first, a few guys have been especially friendly, offering tips on form. Hope your experience turns out even better!
