It's funny how when you are losing weight people will ask you about it and so many will say, "Well I can't do that." It can be ANYTHING! I walk, I run, I bike, I eat right, whatever and they'll say, "Well, I this and I that" There is ALWAYS an excuse! I don't have time.. my husband, my wife, my feet, my knee, my back, my LIFE!
And trust me, I have been there too. I still do it sometimes! If there is something you really do not want to do you will find an excuse. But on the other hand if there is something you TRULY want, then you will find a way.
Sometimes you just want to say, Why don't you just be honest and say, You just don't want it bad enough. Because that is what it is really all about. It's not about not being able to give up sodas or chocolate or having time to walk in place while you watch your favorite shows. It's about how bad you want it.
And I'm sorry if this post sounds harsh. It's just a little venting. Over the weekend a few people were asking me about my weight loss and I got the same excuses over and over from different people just like I have from dozens of people over the past year. And again. I WAS THERE TOO! I still am at times. So this post I guess is to me too. So I will always remember to ask myself, How bad do you want it? What is it worth to you? Is it worth not grabbing that bag of chips? Is it worth a 15 minute walk? Is it worth jogging in place while you watch The Voice? I say, YES!! YES! YES! and YES!!! It is SO worth it and more!!!
Never ever forget that!! YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!
