good morning everyone! well--since it looks like today is going to be the best day weather wise, I am going to get my shoes on and do my third and final run for the last week of the podrunner 10K. I still can't believe I have come this far. I am only running 5.2 instead of the 6.2 of an actual 10k--so I need to work on upping my distance--I am guessing my stride is about 3/4 of a normal person's stride so over a period of time that adds up to a deficit in distance. but that's no big deal--I know from the way I feel that I am working at a good intensity for me, and the miles will come. I am not sure at this point if I am going to just repeat this final week again next week or upload some different music and just go run and keep track of my distance. I figure with my goal speed of 12 min mile it will take me about an hour and 15 minutes. I actually was running a bit faster than that on this interval--but that is really pushing it for me at this point, so I don't want to increase my workload with speed at this point--but rather with distance.
going to Marianne's today to take photos of her baby chicks--we have to do a presentation in a couple weeks about raising chickens and I don't have any cute babies to photograph.

    I'm always trying to improve my exercise. What an inspiration you are! I've been wanting to get backyard chickens for a while now, what can you tell me about them, I'm obviously a novice. How easy are they to take care of and how much do they cost to keep? emoticon

    Your plan to increase distance before speed is a smart one.
