Not really a blog, more of a jumper really...

Wednesday, April 17, 2013

This is a photo of the idea I came up with in order to avoid being tempted to pick at leftovers and nibble at chocolates, cakes, etc when I first joined Spark People. I couldn't eat if I was knitting now could I? Specially if what I was knitting was cream in colour, and sure to show every chocolatey piece of evidence along the way to completing it.

Not once in the almost four weeks I took to knit that jumper, was I even tempted to pick. I never would have believed it would work, but I knew I had to try something out of absolute desperation. That jumper will forever be thought of as my SPARK jumper.

Post script: Just so I don't tempt fate and go back to my snacking habits due to having nothing more productive to do with my hands, I have already started knitting another jumper.
Definitely a win-win situation, this - too busy to snack, and at this rate, I'll have plenty of warm jumpers when the cold weather really settles in here.

I love that calm feeling that knitting brings. It is a good time to think, but not to much or stitches will drop.
(I can only knit straight squares, but I used to love it)
Well done, that sweater is stunning. I am very impressed.
Absolutely Lovely, and good for you for starting on a new one already. Your friends and family will be queing up for theirs soon.
