broccoli for breakfast

I want to eat simple, fresh foods as close to their natural state as possible. I've been saying this for months. I've read all the books and agree it's the healthiest way.
To put my money where my mouth is, I have made broccoli for breakfast. So healthy right? Gag. It's staring at me on the plate and I can barely eat it.
There are ways of cooking broccoli so that they are palatable, but here in lies the problem with eating all these healthy vegetables five times a day. I can't cook all the time, all day. But I also can't eat these plain broccoli. Not even with some salt, or pepper. Maybe some Nutella? Defeats the purpose of 'all-natural' right?
