I wish I could harness days like this when I'm feeling at the top of my game in all things and super motivated -- if I could figure out how to bottle it up for the future days when I'm less motivated, that would be so great. But maybe next time I can just look back at this blog when I need a little extra fire in my step.
But in the meantime..
Got in 10+ servings of veggies today.. YES.
Hit all my nutritional goals and stayed in calorie range.. YES.
Didn't eat the entire humongous piece of chocolate cake I was almost sabatoged with for my boss's birthday (in an office of 5 people total). YES.
Today was a "rest day" as far as exercise though.. but I'm excited for tomorrow's running workout (day 19!! and I looked at it again, and it's not quite as scary as I thought it was going to be originally) YES.
Got my gym bag packed and workout card made up with my new running music for tomorrow. YES.
Now the key is to figure out how to make ALL days this awesome, where I feel like I'm the one in control and I can throw away more than half a piece of cake and still feel satisfied.
YES -- not only CAN I do this, but I AM doing this!
Not everyday is going to be this easy, but it's definitely going to be worth it.
