My dr advised me to take one day a week as a rest day. This is hard for me. I asked if I could go for a walk & she said no. No strength training, just rest.

You would think this would be easy. But, it's not for me. However, today I'm resting.

I ate within my ranges.

I'm looking forward to working out tomorrow!

    A rest day is a good idea because it allows your body to recover and prevents injury but if you are used to a daily walk, it can definitely be a challenge. Keep up the good work and enjoy your rest days. :)

    Well, I guess the dr. knows best. Nothing wrong with resting the body once a week. Nice to have official permission to do it too! emoticon

    You are doing good. I have no problem with 'rest days' - my problem is getting the exercise. I am doing good in this dept and it is a mindset change. You can have enjoyable rest day - I would suggest you do something for the 'mind' like maybe crossword puzzles. You might like that and look forward to the mind challenge...
