Can't stop thinking about Boston's horror

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

There has been too much horror happening in our world. The fact that a team of wonderful runners were in Boston to honor the 26 children and staff murdered in Newtown, CT and that they were exposed to another trauma just breaks my heart.

All we can do is pray for those involved, and appreciate our family when we have them.

Pray for the injured, the families, the people exposed to the horror, the first responders, and all the investigators/hospital staff/support staff involved.

Well said Sally.I think it is affecting us because we are seeing all too much horror and feel helpless to stop it.

I am already praying for all of those affected - including the people who simply had to be exposed to the images on TV. Thanks for putting so much into such kind words.

I agree. I don't know why this particular tragedy is affecting me so deeply. Maybe it's because I feel a kinship with those affected; I'm a runner (however terrible I am at it), and the Boston Marathon is a bucket list item for me one day. It just feels so very wrong, in a way that's tough to describe.
