Over the past couple of weeks i've been trying to weed out the foods i find bad for myself. Or i suppose food i typically find myself binge eating on. My first step was to cut out gluten free bread. Do i miss it? Not really...I suppose its more out of sight out of mind. With cutting out bread i magically without trying cut out gluten free cereal as well. These things were two items that took up a lot of my calories. I feel healthier now too. I know what i should be eating, but its all about making myself make the right decisions.
What i have been eating...
Breakfast: 2 Hard Boiled Eggs or a Protein Pancake
(1 egg white, protein powder, and half a banana)
Snack: Marys Gone Crackers! (Healthy and fixes the carb craving!)
and a banana
Lunch: Can of Green Beans (I should do fresh, but canned is easier)
+ ONE! piece of dark chocolate...yuuummm
Snack: 2 Hard Boiled Eggs
Dinner: Tonight i'm having a mushroom, broccoli, chicken, and tofu noodle stir fry
otherwise i like to have fake breaded chicken or fish with a sweet potato and asparagus, or Hungry Girl Meatloaf or Shredders Pie
Most is pretty low in calorie and if its not its still all healthy things, but some of the healthy stuff is higher in calories.
Late Night Snack(meaning 7pm) Smoothie! ( Blue Berries, Strawberries, peaches, pineapple)
Usually i get the frozen bags of fruit.. I also add Vanilla Whey Protein Powder as well as Almond milk and Stevia. Slightly high in calories for a snack, but it does the trick.
