More Patience and Small Adjustments

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

So, despite my relative success so far this month (staying AF and establishing a running routine) from April 1 to April 16 I have lost a whopping 1.4 lbs. When I committed to go 29 days AF in April I really thought that I would have lost a lot more than this. I feel like I'm doing pretty good and that maybe just more patience is required. I'm willing to make a few small adjustments to get these last 11.2 lbs off...

Adjustment #1 - Measure my creamer in the morning - limit of 4 servings (120 calories) - I've been doing this a few days now - not a big deal. A big deal would be cutting it completely - I could maybe limit myself to 3 servings... I'll think about it.

Adjustment #2 - Up my weekday morning runs from 3.1 to 4 miles - First time was this morning. I will only be able to snooze once in the morning and/or will not be able to blow-dry my hair to be able to get this in... unless I get a whole lot faster ;-)

Adjustment #3 - No more Skinny Cow desserts - this starts today too. I just recently started eating them daily - so why not cut the extra 110 calories per day? It will suck a little but not nearly as much as not being able to drink sucks... and I've been able to do that.

Anyone else have any suggestions for small adjustments that I can make to help me drop this weight? Maybe something that was relatively easy to do once you made the decision to do it?
