I have been doing good with the squat challenge; am now doing it by myself as sister-in-law has lose interest. That's okay, will finish the challenge; it is getting tougher each day for me. Today is a rest day, tomorrow I'll do 150 squats.

Last week I was doing some bicep curls and 3year old nephew wanted to do some with me, he got some weights an wanted to do some. Well that didn't last long, but thought it was cute.

This last 8 weeks has been a challenge in itself. The scale has not been very nice, to me; as I weigh more now than when the challenge started. Just disappointed, on the positive side my clothes are fitting better, so something is happening in the right directions. Well will keep pushing forward and not giving up! No matter how discouraging it gets. Just need to find some exercises that I like to do; wish there was a Zumba class near by. Just need to pull out my Wii and do Zumba on it. It would REALLY help if I had someone to do it with me. I do better when someone else is doing it with me. Just find it Very hard to eat healthy and exercise, when no one else is. Wish that the girls would do it with me.

emoticon for all the support and encouragement. I have signed up for the Spring Challenge.

Wow, I can't imagine doing 150 squats! I like Zumba even if I'm alone, but sometimes DH does it with me (as long as I don't watch him LOL). I just get lost in the music and totally get a super calorie burn. And better yet, when it's hot outside, I can do that inside in A/C rather than running or walking in the heat!

I was lucky with the scale these last few weeks, but I think it's all the running, plus I am OCD about my tracking, it's totally the joke in the office. I just laugh with them and keep going on my eating plan, and running the stairs on breaks. Now when they bring in bagels, etc. bananas and oranges come in too, so maybe a little influence? Who knows?

Glad you'll be in the next challenge!

Your squat challenge is impressive and scares me just a bit! WOW! And how cute that you have a new workout partner in your nephew.
Keep pushing and believe me, the scale will begin to cooperate and your clothes will continue to fit even better!

Great job keeping up with the squat challenge. I was doing with you but lost a week when I got sick. I am keeping it though because I am going to start again May 1st. I was loving it! I am still cheering you on.

I totally get your frustrations about trying to eat right and workout when you feel like a lone ranger and the scale frustrations. So hard to do sometimes but we are going to be victorious! Don't forget we are right here with you. emoticon emoticon

You're not alone in the squat challenge!!! I'm still hanging in there & YES it is getting tough! I've found that if I break them up into sets I'm more motivated to do them i like to do 3 sets, but with the 150 I'm gonna break it up into 4 sets: 2 sets of 37 and 2 sets of 38. I do wall squats with the exercise ball with added weight (either a kettlebell or dumbells) for variety. That being said, squats are majorly a strength exercise, so you shouldn't be discouraged with the number on the scale as that may be attributed to muscle gain! emoticon The fit of your clothes tells the true story #NSV!

Hang in there girl, I wish I live close by you. I will come to your house and do Zumba with you all day long. Lol)) I so love your never give up attitude. You are definitely right direction. You know it and I know it too. (*^^*) I am so proud of you. I've started gravity strap exercise and it does help me doing squat. Be careful for the muscle injury while doing many squatting. Drink lots of water to help ease muscle.

That happened to me last time I did this challenge. I gain a couple of pounds but lost inches so just hang in there as it will happen. Hope you join the next round of 5% challenge. Sign up is already underway!!!
