January 2011, Show: Godspell, Role: Joanne - This was the year that I decided to do something about my weight. I couldn't do half that I wanted to do on stage, and my weight was slowing me down.
I want to be stronger, fitter. I want to continue to be successful. I want to continue to thrive. I may not be where I want to be right now, but I'd rather be here than where I was two years ago.
Summer 2011, Show: Once on This Island, Role: Mama Euralie - I had lost around 45lbs at this point.
Down 6 Dress Sizes.
January 2012, Show: Hairspray, Role: Motormouth Maybelle - I had lost around 65lbs or so here.
