Tribute: Mr. Rogers' quote on hero helpers (and more)

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

A picture is worth a thousand words... but these words are worth applying:
(In tribute to all those affected not only at the Boston Marathon 2013
but during any difficulty or tragedy)

Hate cannot drive out hate, only LOVE can do that. MLK

LOVE this and it's so healing to read. Especially after the events of the day. The bombings in Boston unhinges each of us enough to really look, like Mr. Rogers, for the safe people, for the helpers... there will always be a helper.
I totally subscribe to the "love is never wasted" and "be the change you want to see in the world" attitudes.
It will be a sleepless night for me, but that's alright, it's giving me the chance to read and get caught up on the wonderful team blogs I haven't had the ability to sit long enough to read for a bit over a week.

Thank you so much for the tribute, so wonderfully insightful and healing!
