Gosh! My house is FULL of Lizards!!!!!

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

My Dad has been setting traps for the various lizards that leave unwanted 'presents' on our kitchen table. The 'present's' are the lizard feaces!!! I can tell you, it's v. v. frustrating to find your kitchen counter full of lizard droppings!

Well, with the latest trap, we caught 3 more fat, lizards!!!! I had no idea we had sooo many lizards in the house till the traps were set!!!!! So, far, we've caught about more than 10 of them!!!!!

I hope you meant gecko (cicak) not lizard (biawak) coz I can't imagine have lots of biawak in the house, that's like an horror movie, hehe. Whatever you have in your house, I hope your family will able to get rid of them!

Oh, I do not miss those creatures! I must say I hate those 'presents' they leave behind! Thankfully, we do not have those where I am at now.

Here, I would like to share a story with you. When my daughter went back to Malaysia with me on her first trip, she was then 18 months old. For her, it is not common to see lizards in the house. She was curious and kept trying to follow them around. They are quick, one minute on the floor and the next they are on the ceiling. It was kind of fun watching her chase them around.

To ward off lizards place egg shells . We dry out the eggshells after emptying the contents and place them around the house out of reach of kids, usually on shelf tops and cupboards.
