It's day 14 of living a healthier lifestyle and I feel great!

It's not easy but I'm consciously making better food choices. I go to work prepared for the day with nutritious healthy snacks. I've eaten breakfast on a regular basis for 14 days straight. That's a huge accomplishment for me. I've never been a breakfast eater but I can honestly say it has made a significant difference in how I feel when I leave for work in the morning and how my eating habits are affected throughout the day. I've been able to achieve a balanced eating schedule.

Are there temptations.... everyday. Today was tough because the monthly birthday cake was outside my office door and the aroma of the cake was wafting into my office. As I contemplated having a piece I came to the realization I really wasn't hungry, it was only the aroma that was tempting me. I stuck to my regular snack schedule and had my apple and ounce of cheese while enjoying the aroma of the cake. I felt so good leaving work today knowing that I made the healthier choice.

I'm not dieting, I'm committed to making lifestyle changes that will create a healthier me!
