Yes, yes, after all the disaster, today was almost picture perfect!
I tracked all my food, and stayed in range.
I went for my first jog in 7 months (winter is long up here!). My thoughts were with all Boston's runner... :( On a brighter note, I ran my first 2 km in 13 minutes which is my best time ever. After that, I did 2 more km in intervals of 4 min/jog-1 min/walk. This being my first run in so long, I wanted to go easy on my body.
I did not do my ST but I'm ok with that because I did a LOT of planning!
I cooked a batch of crustless onion quiche in ramequin (a new twist on my onion pie I talked about a couple of months ago). It's in the oven right now and I'm pretty sure it will be delicious for my lunch. I'll eat it with baby carrots or a side salad, a yogurt and there you have a great lunch!
I tracked already my lunches quiches and my shakes, the rest will be pretty easy to track as I'm eating it.
I weighed my food and measure everything for dinner tonight (leftovers will be my lunch tomorrow). What I made? Delicious spaghetti squash with sautéed chicken breast, cremini mushrooms, leeks in tomato sauce with parmesan on top. It's 308 calories for a big plate and very filling!
So! Should I be proud or what!
I'll maybe try to wake up early tomorrow to get a little 15 minutes on the elliptical before I leave for work because I won't have time to exercise in the evening but at least, I'm confident I'll be eating the right food!
Now, gotta go take the quiches out the oven!
