Boston Explosions

Monday, April 15, 2013

My heart is sick, and I am shaken by the explosions this afternoon. I was JUST there on Boylston Street on the weekend looking at all the preparations, buying running shoes at the New Balance Store, checking out the special marathon store where the first bomb went off. On a sunny Marathon Day - Patriots Day in Massachusetts - evil struck. Reports of children with legs blown off - it is beyond comprehension. If you pray, please pray for these children and the others killed and injured. Thank you.

Such a terrible day, and this day will not be forgotten. So glad they have the two who were responsible for this awful thing that happened. Prayers still going out to the injured and families who lost loved ones.

So glad you are safe. emoticon

Thank you all for the outpouring of sympathy and prayers for the victims and the first responders in Boston. By the evening, I was able to verify that everyone I know was safe, including a runner who was diverted from the finish line area as he had not finished yet.

Such a sad day for Boston, and the world. Prayers for those hurt and families of those lost. Also prayers for the police, fire fighters, and all the responders.

Definitely praying for the survivors, and the loved ones of those who didn't survive. What a terrible and senseless tragedy! I hadn't heard about the children, so heartbreaking! God bless them all.

I am glad to hear you are ok. I pray that Boston's medical personnel are strong and able, that help comes from many sources, that the perpetrator is found and locked up immediately, and that those who can be healed are healed.

Absolutely scary. This is going to hit a lot of close to home. I won't know until tomorrow I guess if everyone I know is okay.

So glad I don't have a TV. It's bad enough listening to it on the radio. There are too many sicko's in the world, that's for sure. Prayers going out for all who were injured or witnessed the carnage.

It is just unfathomable that this would happen. With so many runners and so many spectators. Patriots Day is really a holiday in Boston with so many kids off school and people off work going to see the Marathon. I pray for those killed and injured and for their families. Now they are saying since there was nothing on the wires about it that it may be domestic terrorism. Luckily the found the 3rd device before it detonated.
