The Beginning

Hello there spark people. I have been battling with my weight all of my life, I have tried many programs and diets and none of them have been successful for me. It feels like I have hit a wall when it comes to weight loss, but I know there is hope out there, the question is am I ready. Now more than ever I am feeling ready! There are so many things going on in my life that are discouraging me and making me feel like I just can't do it but I have to ignore those things, rise up to the challenge and fight for a healthier better me! The greatest things in life are worth fighting for, and I am ready! emoticon

    You CAN do it! Focus on the positive things in life and minimize the difficulties. YOU are important. Visualize yourself where you want to be...thin and healthy. Always think positive and say positive affirmations every day. I AM HEALTHLY! I CAN DO THIS! I AM WORTH IT! The more you say, the more you will believe it and the greater likelihood it will happen.     emoticon This site is the absolute best place to be for encouragement and inspiration or even just information. Welcome! You can be a healthier and better YOU but you do have to work at it. I have started so many diets, so many times and nothing has ever stuck - until Sparkpeople. I really never believed I could lose the weight and keep it off so I would give up on myself and gain the weight back I had lost plus a few pounds. Now I have changed my mindset and I am in it for the long haul, no matter how long it takes I will keep at it, it is a lifestyle change and it does take work and good choices. Check in here often and let us know how you are doing. So glad you are ready! Have fun on this journey and let us tag along.
