8 reasons you aren't losing weight (spark article)

Monday, April 15, 2013

I thought this was a great article and a good reminder of some of the things I let slip sometimes. I have to weigh and measure everything..track track track! I am good on the exercise side of thing, but I have to be so careful about what I eat. It can be so annoying to see my husband or friends have a beer and munch away at a basket of salsa and chips...not a care in the world. I am tostito, two tostito, three tostitos. I know, there are far worse thing, but still makes me cranky!

I get cranky about it too. What's worse though is giving in and feeling guilty/foolish later!

I wonder how many people do count there chips. I have realized some people that I thought were natural thin were counters too. I asked one of them and they laughed but they said they put controls in place. When they start putting the pounds on to nip in the butt. They just always eat some many chips or less.

Some times I feel more satisfied if I count all the chips at once and see how big the pile really is. Other wise I will just focus on the crazy bowl or big bag.

I do like the single serving sizes... I love to tell my husband on the phone that I just ate a whole bag of chips. LOL...

The other thing I tell myself there will be tomorrow and then i can have some more if I want. (If my tomorrow doesn't come I will care less about food) Enough of that crazy food controlling me. emoticon emoticon
