Blog Bonus Challenge! Post a blog about something that motivates you to keep going when temptations strike.
So, I guess the things that motivate me most are how good it feels to be able to get out and do things with my family/friends. Things like finishing that 44 mile bike ride with my hubby, or hiking in Indiana (up and down STEEP hills!) with my girls without getting out of breath.
But it's also things like how good I feel when I try on some clothes at the store and have to ask for a smaller size (also the memory of how bad I felt when I had to ask for that larger size).
When I look at pictures of myself before and after I lost my 60lbs I'm amazed at how different I look now.
So, when temptation strikes I try to think about all the things I would be giving up and what it would be like to go back to that person who couldn't walk around the block without being exhausted and having trouble breathing. I don't want to be that person again so I'll keep on keeping on and pray that the days I can avoid temptation continue to out number the days I give in.
