It's APRIL 15th and we woke up to this-
April! 15th! Arg! And the forecast calls for three days of snow. ARG. I usually weather winter pretty well but this year it didn't start until March, just when I want Spring. The good news is (yes, I found some) this will make the grass greener when and if we get to see it again. Ha ha.
I hope my wee seedlings in the garden make it. Maybe I should have covered them?
In other news, my son from Alaska is visiting (and left behind better weather) and it has been very good to get to see and talk to him again. I need to stop going over my calorie range on the weekends. And drinking on the weekends. That's kind of crept back into our weekend nights and I need to shut it down again. Too many calories and then I also tend to eat a lot more and have no will power, duh. The last three weekends, same thing, have a drink, end up having three drinks and a lot of food. Puts me right back where I was weight wise and then I have to really step it up during the week to catch back up and lose any more. Am not sure how I've even had any success the last several weeks but I have. I still may not make it to my 5% goal this Saturday though and the culprit? Alcohol! When am I ever going to be done with that? That is my point of weakness folks, that's the thing I just really need to walk away from for good. Too bad I think it's so much fun, eh? Something to work on....
