Oh does the weekend just go so fast!! All in all I had a pretty good weekend. On friday I went to a mew group fitness studio to take a zumba class with one of my favorite instructors. She's gotten even better since the last time I took her at a different studio. Not to mention I just fell in love with the atmosphere of the studio. The people were all really nice! Plus it would be great to make 5:30 classes and still get home at an early hour! After I got home from zumba, we went out to eat at Chilis so the boyfriend could watch baseball. I was somewhat good. I split an appetizer and was too full to eat my dinner. I had one alcoholic beverage, but then split dessert. I guess it could have been worse!
On saturday I went to the new studio to try a group strength class. I didn't think the class was that difficult initially, but as the day went on, I could feel my muscles aching! After the class I went to a new consignment shop nextdoor and found all kinds of cute stuff! When I got home, we got ready and headed to my parents house to hang out. Which is always really nice!
On Sunday, I had a four hour skate practice. I skated really well even with sore muscles! If that wasn't enough, I went to the studio to take zumba with my favorite instructor. I had a really good class, but was sweating like CRAZY. The rest of the day, I laid around and ate. The only bad thing about working out that much was my never ending hunger!!
So nutritionally speaking, this was not as good of a weekend as last, but it could have been worse.
This morning I got my morning video in and even with sore muscles, it wasn't too bad! I am probably going to go to the strength class after work, but it will be my last class of the week because I have a skate race to taper for this weekend. I will probably do my morning videos till Wednesday and then get some extra rest thursday and friday.
