How am I doing?

One of my April goals was to blog once a week. My last blog entry was 30 March so I guess I am a little late. I won't say I FAILED that goal, I will just look at it as a little BLIP. Not to make excuses but I do read and comment on a lot of Missourians! Team blogs and well, I do work full time and I am training for my first 5K coming up on....OMG! It is in 5 days! Am I ready? I have no idea. I have NEVER run that far but I have been running about a half a mile before walking so I can at least do that a few times and walk the rest. My run - it is not pretty, it is actually a slow jog that is slower than some people walk but it is a pace that I can maintain for a while so I do it.
I have been doing okay on my eating but I confess, I haven't been tracking. I seem to be staying the same on the scale so I guess that means I really should be tracking - maybe that will be a goal next month.
The Spark People Rally is just a couple weeks away and I am so excited! I can't wait to meet and chat with my team members. I plan on taking TONS of pictures so we can share them on SP for all the peeps that can't attend (we will miss you).
Did I meet my other goals? Well, the daily nutribullet shake is hit or miss. I seem to do better when I am working because I am not normally hungry before work but I know I need to jumpstart my metabolism by having something in my tummy. The thing about the shakes is that they are very nutritious and filling however, they make me super hungry two or three hours later. I can deal with it but that means I have to break for a snack early and sometimes it is not convenient. I am doing fine on the meal planning. I have raised the intensity of my workouts and the duration. So, all in all, I have met most of my goals and there is still time left in the month. I am fine with that - after all, nobody is perfect, right?
