My last blog entry seemed so inocuous. And yet I kept getting a warning that I could not post it because there was profanity in it. I went through it trying to figure out what the problem was I changed wrenched to twisted, and a few other words that were not really profane but I was running out of options. Then I got the idea maybe it was the type of dog my friend had so I changed the dog type to just dog and sure enough that worked. My friend has a shatzu. If you change the a to i it will be correct. The profanity watch dog picked up on the word sh...t and thought I had sworn. Interesting!!!!!!!!

While I am joking about the spelling thing I went to a spelling site and lo and behold I discovered I was totally spelling it incorrectly anyway. It is spelled Shi tzu and now I should not have anymore problems. Who knew?

Same thing happens with some forms of punctuation. Nearly drove me crazy trying to figure out a post a while ago (wish I could remember what was the issue!).

LOL changing the dogs type was funny....rules are rules and have to be obeyed. But Im also not one who enjoys hearing or reading profanity so Im grateful there is "this" thing stopping profanity. My dad used to say to us as kids "I didn't pay your school fees so you could speak like that" SO TRUE DAD. emoticon

While it can be annoying to work with, I SO appreciate that blocker, and wish it was available for people's mouths. I get so tired of hearing it, and it just declares to the world that the person is not intelligent enough to think of a more suitable adjective. I also get tired of listen to people make excuses for them. Some things are just never appropriate.

And profanity is a pet peeve of mine, so we are extremely grateful hearing so much of the language today that the type of dog was not a description of your friend! Thank you!
