Signs of the Spark Times

My experience with SparkPeople has been great. I started this journey in January and it has been an exciting adventure to far. The best part of my journey is the opportunity I have to share this road with so many others who are striving to reach the same destination as me.
Did you ever stop to think about how many members there are on Spark? When I think about all the other people worldwide, not just here in my little town, or even in the state I live in, but outside of this country even there are thousands and thousands of members all striving to reach the same goals.
For many of our friends on Spark, the road has been a little rougher. Some of us deal with major health issues that have made losing weight and becoming healthy a much more difficult journey. Finding ways to inspire and support our friends becomes even more important when the challenge is greater than our own.
Sharing our experiences, our successes and our failures, our ups and downs, helps us all to see that no matter how hard we think the journey is, there are people out there who understand. SparkPeople members who are willing to support us in any way possible. We have an army of mentors, coaches and friends who will listen and respond in ways that are positive and educational.
When we slip up, have a bad day or just are not feeling like we can continue our journey, we have the support teams to catch us when we fall and help us get back on track.
We are all striving to make our lives healthier. I have learned that exercise is contagious. Energy begets energy. My new body is under construction now. I am the foreman on this construction crew, but SparkPeople is the CEO and following the outline presented to me by the CEO is the guidance I need to finish this project.
Change is good! How many times have we heard that in our lives? I remember hearing it on the job. I remember hearing it in the classroom. I remember hearing it in many other areas of my life.
So, whether we go
our goal is pretty much the same destination.
I wish you all
in your journey!
