Spark Coach

When I started Spark People, I set my weight loss goal at 35 pounds. That was higher than my original goal, but it is what my doctor suggested aiming far. when.....I reach that goal, we can decide if that is what is right for me.

So far, I've lost 8 pounds......up and down the scale. Then I considered Spark Coach & though I didn't really want to spend the money, I decided to try it.

Unfortunately, just about that time, I got really sick. A major asthma episode that has led to breathing treatments via machine 4 times a day, plus prednisone for nine days (only 3 to go after today). That means I haven't been able to do any real's difficult to exercise when you can't breathe.

My breathing is getting better & pretty soon I'll be able to start some types of exercise. Funny thing is, I miss doing some exercise.....something I never expected to do.m I'm getting anxious, but don't want to go to fast.

The scale is consistently going down. Not only that, but I can wear jeans I haven't been able to button & zip for a while. That is just the accountability of Spark Coach. I think more about what I'm going to eat before I eat it. Since I'm planning better, I don't get hungry between meals. I've even eaten out several times this week, but tracked what I was going to order before leaving & stuck with that plan. I've gone over my calorie range twice, but by less than 50 calories each time. Now, I'm 8 pounds down & losing it slowly, just the way I gained it. I'm thrilled & excited about the day I meet my goal. It now seems like a real thing, not just s vague wish.

Spark Coach is one of the best investments I've made healthwise in a while.
