Less Stressed

Saturday, April 13, 2013

I finally feel as if a corner has been turned.
Last month I had to disassociate myself with a nurse practitioner, who violated HIPAA. There has been many challenges with this. She has done things to cause major complications and confusion which hasn't been easy to handle. The lies and accusations have been a nightmare.
I finally had to send her a 'cease and desist' letter with a potential of legal action if she wouldn't stop harassing the patients.
I want what is best for the patients but it seems she is more concerned about her bottom line.
Doing whateve I could so that patients wouldn't suffer has been paramount.
Non-urgent paperwork, consequently was put on a back burner. This was an additional stress to me. It was so uncharacteristic that it wasn't done, (I pride myself in having an one working day turn around time, which is why I am at the office by 6 AM).
After 10 additional hours at the office today, it is done. I will sleep better tonight.

That's terrible about the nurse practitioner! Glad you are handling things and getting less stress! I don't know what she is doing, but I have complained about a few of those in my lifetime! Well, one N.P., the others were nurses! Some just do not care!
Hope you are having a nice restful weekend! emoticon
