what a week!

Saturday, April 13, 2013

This has been a week like none other.

After spending last week doing some major reflection, I decided to resign from my job on Monday. I've been at my place of business for 17 years. This is a huge change for me. My last day in the office will be May 24th.

Tuesday was spent working on some of the details related to the above news.

Wednesday, I was rear-ended while stopped at a red light. I spent ~6 hours in the Labor & Delivery unit of the hospital for monitoring. Everything is fine, but long & scary day. So glad this accident didn't trigger an early labor.

Thursday, more followup with OB. And, lots of work catchup.

Friday, insurance business.

Now, to finish the police report, tie up loose ends with insurance, and get the car repairs scheduled.

I need a massage and a good night's sleep!

Glad to hear you and the baby are OK. I hope that your choice to leave your job helps you find more happiness.

I spent an entire week on vacation (from work) doing things every day - I am calling it my 9 day weekend because I had a list of things to do and I had something to do every day. I know why some retired people say they are busier now than when they worked.

Good luck with all the car junk.

Wow, leaving ANS is pretty big news. Pretty awesome that you're able to do so! I think you'll love it.
