So after lunch my husband and me went for a mile walk on the walking trail at the park. Despite some foot discomfort from my shoes, I made it through. We then returned home for me to change my shoes and then proceeded to go back to the park for an hour worth of tennis. I really enjoyed that workout today. I would like to aim for about 3 times per week to play tennis with my husband. I loved it. When we played before we really didn't know what we were doing, so we took a different approach this time. Although we need to make some improvement, I think we did a great job.
My husband kept me motivated by saying things like, "great job", "Nice try", and the little things like that. I was surely motivated to keep going when he said these little things to me. Those little things means a lot. Having a buddy to go on this journey with me is great.
I am cooking dinner now, and then we will be watching the Phillies game. After dinner and some philliles, we are going to Ritas to get some water ice, yayyy no calories; burned 1137 calories today just with playing tennis alone!
