Trying to be careful.

Saturday, April 13, 2013

We are having an anniversary party for friends this evening, so I am trying to be careful about what I eat today, so I can have a small slice of cake tonight. Had a pretty severe low blood sugar episode this morning. Went down to 34. Much lower and I would have passed out. Got to get these episodes under control! Not sure why it happened. Had eaten breakfast of 1 egg and a slice of whole grain toast. Just have to keep watch on it I guess.

glad you had a good time.

Wouldn't you know I have orientation at my new job tomorrow and they furnish breakfast, lunch and snacks! All the times I would have loved that in the past.
I am hoping they have salad and fruit. emoticon

Marianne, no, I haven't heard that, but I am past menopause. Don't know if it has anything to do with it. Would like to know though. Maybe I should ask my Dr. Yes, everyone! I had a wonderful time and even had a small slice of cake. Didn't mess up and eat the whole thing and feel good about it.

oh, sorry I misinterpreted it- I must have diabetes on the brain- my mom had a problem with low blood sugar in her 50s- they said it was related to menopause. It gradually went away- have you heard anything like that?

I don't have diabetes. I have low blood sugar episodes. It's never high.

Diabetes is so challenging- my mom, husband, sister in law and nephew are all diabetic and something different seems to work for each one.
Hope it settles down, enjoy your party emoticon
