Ugh! I've been dreading this! On Tuesday night I was at Zumba burning some major calories and what happens? I land on the side of my foot and collapse with a badly sprained ankle. I've been doing so well going to the gym and exercising 4-5 times a week and now I've been told to stay off it for a week. I really hope this doesn't turn into a major setback for me.
Luckily, the swelling has gone down greatly. I'm able to walk now without crutches... yippee! I'm gonna give my ankle the rest of the weekend to rest and then try to ease back into the gym on Monday. Anyone have suggestions on things to do that won't put too much stress on it? I was thinking the elliptical shouldn't be too bad. I'll definitely avoid the treadmill for a while! It hurts just thinking about it! Thank you in advance for your suggestions!
On a happier note, tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary with my awesome husband! I'm so glad we got married last year, when it actually felt like Spring in April! Hehe! It's been a crazy year of ups and downs, but through it all, I love him more than ever! Happy Anniversary babe! Below is my favorite pic from our day!
