oh no

those who have been with me for a while know I'm electronically challenged, having trouble with my computer frequently and my camera too. Well here is a camera story. I liked my old Kodak but it was getting older and had gotten banged up a bit and was not working half the time so last summer while on vacation hubby got tired of hearing me cursing it out and got me a Fuji camera and it had more features like panorama that I liked, it worked fine up until about four months ago then it started acting wonky, fortunately we had bought the insurance when we purchased it so we sent it in but instead of replacing it they remunerated us the $$. Hubby went to the store planning to purchase a new one but the employee said wait a couple months for when the new models come out and then buy one, so he waited. Now I have a Nikon COOLPIX. I went on a home garden tour of three fabulous houses in our area with the garden club and took lots of pictures but when I went to blog about it and upload the pics to SP, it said
The File is too large to save.
so I complained to hubby who changed the mega pixel setting on the camera so future pics I should be able to share, however I can't show you the fabulous gardens and water features and sculptures and pretty flowers that I saw
and descriptions just wouldn't do them justice, especially the one who had been built by the family that owned Hong Kong (when it was a British Colony, for a certain number of years before being given back to China), it was 5 acres in size and had seen several transformations (even a board and care home for a while), now part of it's grounds is used for Growcology where they try to get the elementary school children interested in growing vegetables in hopes to instill gardening into them at a young age, also they had this HUGE red barn that had originally been used as stables for the polo ponies the family kept and put on tournaments for their wealthy friends. Tennis courts, swimming pool and pool house this place had it all including a large parking area. So you just have to know I wanted to share this adventure with you but can't.
now I'm working on my own place getting it spruced up for my three outdoor parties next month for; the garden club and both of my red hat chapters I'm doing High Tea for. It has been a bit hit and miss getting it worked on as I had to go to my cousins funeral out of town, been working on my Mom's place for her, took Chatty Cathy for an eye appt (she was seeing spots when she woke up), she had her eyes dilated and need a driver so I was IT and the usual things like the first Friday of the month gals (we did postpone that by one week because it suited us all better, but it was yesterday so that blew most of my day, and my brother came up from San Diego for a visit), I have a tea committee meeting this coming Tues. so I have until then to get organized and the house cleaned and keep working on the yard front and back (the work is never done), so if you don't hear from me for a while, you know I'm just to busy to blog right now.

I am camera challenged myself, I gave my hubby a "fancy" camera when he retired, I try not to touch it, because I'll hit a wrong button and mess his setting up. I would have loved the garden tours. Hey in your spare time I could use some help in the yard... emoticon

Sorry we missed out on the garden tour but will be happy to know that we will have photos in the future. I know technology can be great but when it doesn't work right it's no fun.
    Have a terrific Sunday.

Wow, I'm glad you got a good camera. I am hopeless at
getting my photos uploaded. I have to practically beg my
son to help me and he always says soon, but it's impossible.
You are one busy lady. I hope your garden parties go well.
    Have a great week. emoticon
