Ugh. It has been a bad week for me. There was a death in the family and I ended up waaay off track. We spent the week with out of town relatives and of course there was the funeral, reception, and lots of time spent visiting with family. I let the stress get to me and did more than my fair share of comfort eating.
As for this week's challenge...I had a couple of really good days where I drank my water consistently all day long and I noticed that my skin looked really good. I also had a bunch of days when I didn't drink anything except a cup of coffee until after 7PM. My skin didn't look so hot on those days. It's easy for me to forget to drink water. I don't seem to get thirsty until I'm really dehydrated. I think that I mistake thirst for hunger sometimes. I also resist drinking water if I am going to be out somewhere and it won't be convenient to get to a washroom. I keep telling myself I'll drink the water later. Well, I can't slug back eight cups of water right before bed can I? So, putting it off until later doesn't happen. I hadn't realized just how bad I was at this so it's definitely something to work on.
I did put in quite a few cardio minutes this week but didn't do any strength training at all. I also gained another two pounds. Grrr.
I can't believe that this challenge is half over. It's time for me to kick myself in the arse and get on track!
