True Blue - Road Trip blog

Saturday, April 13, 2013

"To earn an extra 100 miles toward your travel this week, post a blog with your plans for the next seven weeks. This may entail a set of SMART nutrition goals, a description of your plan to gradually increase or maintain a certain level and type of exercise, a list of weekly miles goals, or anything else that will keep you on track through the end of May...and ready to roll for BLC22. "

My goals for our seven week road trip is to contribute as many miles as I can via cardio, strength training, eating my fruits and veggies, staying in cal range and tracking my foods/drinks. Trying to keep it simple so as not to overdue things as BLC Round 22 will soon be a reality......

Water - drink half my body weight in ounces each day emoticon

Cardio - 3x per week emoticon

Strength training - 3x per week emoticon

Tracking - either on SparkPeople or in my notebook daily for all meals/drinks/snacks emoticon

Posting - continue to chat on the team thread to stay in touch and focused as well as cheer on the other members of the team emoticon

Reasons for doing this: I want to be healthy, fit, and more toned. The only way to achieve these goals is to be accountable not only to myself but also to my teammates.

LET'S GO BLUES -- ENJOY THE ROAD TRIP!! emoticon emoticon

emoticon Dee! Keeping it simple is good! That ensures that we are able to keep going day after day without over whelming ourselves. Do what you can each day and go to bed satisfied with your progress!
