I started off doing so well this month. Running consistently, eating in my range. I lost 3 pounds that first week, for Pete's sake! And then...
I got sick. No big deal really. It's either a cold or a lovely case of seasonal allergies kicking in. Whatever it is, I knew my 5K was at risk. And so what else do you do when you're feeling too sick to work out? Oh, I don't know, start eating like you're purposefully TRYING to gain weight? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Makes sense. Not.
So after a week of this, I'm back up 2 pounds. The race is today and I'm not running it.
I'm actually bored with my own laziness. A whole week of overeating and watching a lot of TV. Ugh. Enough already. I'm ready to get back on track. I need to get moving again.
So there's my little update. April so far has been a wash. One great week and one crappy week. Reboot!
