Had a great day today. I managed to do 45 minutes on the bike, and 45 minutes on the treadmill. I stayed within my calorie range today. I totally felt great today. Went to my parents for dinner this evening, and had a great lunch at the health food store.
Enough about me. I have posted pictures of my children, and now I want to introduce them to you. I have been blessed with three boys.
Daniel is 13 years old, and is Autistic. He has Asperger's Syndrome. He has totally amazed me. He is in the 7th grade this year, and has done very well. He has maintained an A- to B average. He participates in Royal Rangers through our church, and just recently received his Gold Eagle award for a Discovery Ranger. He is now an Adventure Ranger, and is looking forward to going to camp again this summer. This will be his 5th year at camp. He has also participated in Special Olympics, where he received 2 gold medals(basketball, and 100 meter yard dash), 1 silver medal(bowling), and a bronze medal(softball throw). His basketball team also earned the highest award that a Special Olympian can earn, which is the sportsmanship award. We have not been able to do Special Olympics for the past couple of years, because of my work schedule.
Jacob is 6 will be 7 at the end of April, and he is my quiet one. He is in the first grade this year, and has some speech problems, which he is getting help for. He is also in Royal Rangers, where he is a Ranger Kid, and is doing very well. Jacob enjoys playing video games and reading. He also likes hearing the stories from the Bible. Jacob is also known as my mini-me.
Joseph is my youngest. He just turned 5 in March. He is my little adventurer. He is in Head Start for the second year, and is looking forward to his journey to kindergarten in September. He will also be joining Royal Rangers in June. He likes to explore things that are in our yard, and thinks he can chase and catch squirrels. He to likes the stories from the Bible.
God blessed me with these wonderful children. We face each day with love. I wouldn't know what I would do without them. Them along with my husband have been there for me through my trials and tribulations. They are with me through this lifestyle change, and they were there for me, when I was sexually assaulted at work three years ago. I don't know where I would be right now, if I didn't have them. Sometimes at night I go into my boys room, and just look at their beautiful faces when they sleep, and praise God for these beautiful boys.
Quote for the day:
