The other night I decided to add ground beef cooked with tomatoes, onions and garlic to my timbale. The ground beef was similar to what would become my spaghetti sauce. so my timbale became a pasta-less lasagna :)
Layers of mushrooms, lenghtwise sliced zucchini, carrots, red onion and interlaced with grated goat cheese, herbs and spices NO pasta needed.
It was delicious and I didn't miss the pasta at all, DH liked it too and will most probably claim the leftovers :)
