I am now putting in my answers.

Well, my score was about 48. Anything over 36 is a sign a caregiver is overburdened!

I am so sorry that's the case; but I know you're doing what you can to alleviate the situation.

Both my husband & I lost our parents when we were only in our forties. It was awful, but taught us the importance of leading healthy lifestyles as they were each too young to go. I guess we are blessed not to have this burden, a burden they would have never wanted for us. Still, I would give anything for a day with one of them. Peace to you and be blessed.

One of our Sons used to take his Dad on trips, but since he is on 10 - 12 hour shifts 6 days a week, he is unable. The other Sons feel I am selfish when I say I could use a break. I scored 50. But God enables me to keep going! It could be worse. emoticon

My score came to 71 prior to "the event" and move, if I did the addition right. Of course now, I am pretty okay now. Just working on my own health. I think I personally would have scored you higher, but I believe you have said your husband has a sweet personality. Just make sure you are not compromising your own health. That is where my scores went off the chart. Thanks for sharing.

When you figure out the care plan for your spouse, make sure you figure in care for yourself. If you are not dealing with your stress, you could become ill, which is not good for you or your husband. Make sure you have some time to exercise and/or do other things that just focus on you. I know this is easier said than done, but please make sure you stay well.

It's a rough stressful job! After looking at the questions it was no doubt you weren't higher. I have a feeling my youngest brother is at that or higher taking care of our Dad. God blesses you in many ways. May he bless you always for the wonderful job you're doing. Hugs
