A bump on a blog

Friday, April 12, 2013

Good Morning friends.
It has been a week of allergies, back spasms, and working through my preparations for a lesson I am presenting for the ladies at church tomorrow.
Already the day is fraught with interruptions, but am pressing onward.
Despite how I felt, I did at last manage to get in 10 minutes of official routine this morning. I woke with phone calls, backs spasms, and coughing/hacking. It is cloudy and rainy out.
I am here, but not all. I have checked in, but barely.
Today I heard from my brother and found out I am going to be a great-aunt - his son and daughter-in-law are expecting; I also heard from both of my sons by phone, and one is even here having a late breakfast with my husband.
I have the menu of things I need to prepare (food wise) tonight for tomorrow. I am making a gluten free, egg free version of a couple of recipes - a breakfast muffin and a dessert.

So this is just a bump on a blog, letting you know I am here, quiet in the background, in study and prayer.
Love ya all.

It is good you have made it to 10 minutes, it has been tough but you are keeping it all together. Are you still using your Tens unit. I keep one on my back sometimes. I just tuck it in my waist band and let it rip for a while.

I make lots of soups that way I can easily avoid any gluten or wheat. Hugs keep it up. Spring is lurking somewhere HUGS Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon

emoticon I know well the misery of allergies. I have been a prime user of Claritan this spring! Luckily it seems to have worked.
Praying you get to feeling better soon and feel good for you presentation/lesson tomorrow.

They are predicting a really bad allergy season this year! So, maybe we can have a sneeze-along! Rest and get to feeling better!

Good for you hanging in there! Its been a struggle for me too, also allergies with the high winds blowing the dust and snow mold around and flooding my apartment with my neighbor's smoke :( Also have a very bad pain in my elbow, forcing me to drop strength training and some of my favorite workout videos that aggravate it. The support brace suggested is not helping at all with it :( Two steps forward one back as usual..
Winter hanging in with a vengeance, snow on the way, temps well below our normal -we should be having plus temps and have yet to get them!!
Hope you have a good and restful weekend!
