Well, I'm inconsistently trying to be consistent!! Not working so well yet. I track food for a couple of days, get in my exercise and then I don't for 3-4 days. I know it's all excuses. I am still watching what I eat but being more consistent with the workouts is more difficult for me. I will get it but can't give up.
It seems I have been so busy with annoying tasks--phone calls, scheduling, etc. Not getting basics accomplished like house cleaning! it's frustrating but all those tasks need to be done also and most of them have a "due date". Oh, well, so it goes.
I've been feeling good but my sleep has been erratic! ARGH! I know once I get back into routine, the sleep will probably improve. Although looking at my calendar, I'm not sure if routine will be happening anytime soon!
Next week, hubby and I are off to Key West. Not anyplace I ever wanted to go but he has a speaking engagement (which means not a lot of meetings for him) so I'm going for a mini vacation! I've heard there's really not much to do there but bars. We like to have a good time but not day long drinkers for sure. Hopefully, we'll get in some walking and relaxation.
Of course, eating will still be an issue. My willpower breaks down after about 48 hours so I'll need to be careful!
I have my first dress fitting for my son's wedding 2 weeks later so there's some motivation! I can't believe this is coming up so fast now! It's down to counting days (July 20) and there still seems to be much to do before then. Of course, this time around I'm mother of the groom--much less pressure and stress!
Ha! I do keep my family on their toes. In January I took the major fall while I was with daughter and grandkids. Last week I managed to hit a parked car with her van. Yes, I was sober!!! So, I've been dealing with that for a week. They may be putting me in a home soon. LOL!!!
