Saw the doctor today and had a reality check. My shoulder needs about 2-3 weeks of rest. That means no upper foundation garments, limited movement of the left shoulder (which will make the deep water fitness class very interesting), and (in lieu of a sling) I have to keep my arm in a Napoleon stance when standing.
Uhhhh! Definitely not what I wanted, but obviously what I need. The doctor did okay the rest of my workout of the lower body as long as it doesn't affect the shoulder, so I have to be very sure I don't foul this up. I truly do not want to end up like some of the wonderfully kind people who shared their horror stories after my blog yesterday.
